About the Artist
Colonel Frank DuBose, USMCR (Ret), spent 30
years flying many of the aircraft depicted in this site.
As a Vietnam veteran, he  brings to his drawings
the detailed environment in which these machines
must survive.  He often includes in his work the vital
human element of the individual Marine, whether it
is the air crewman or the rifleman on the ground
.
